Ghost House by Travis Henry

Ghost House  Written and directed by Travis Henry (GTS alum).

This nine person show is about a game show where brave ghost hunters spend the night at the Grandstreet theatre and if they manage to make it through the night without leaving the theatre they win the grand prize of one million dollars. Meanwhile Clara the Grandstreet ghost is part of a competition (run by the same host). If Clara can scare all the ghost hunters out of the theatre she gets a prize.

All auditions, rehearsals and performances will be on Zoom.  You must be enrolled and attending a class in Session 1 of Theatre School to audition.

Please upload a headshot and resume plus a one-minute (or less) monologue by September 26th.  This will be a short rehearsal period (2-3 weeks) 4 days a week in October.

Mixed Up Mashed Up Fairy Tale by Dr. Bob Chanda

Directed by Ted Van Alstyne (GTS alum).  This super funny script has room for 14+ characters.  There is a vegetarian wolf, a very frustrated narrator and chaos ensues from that point on.

In this first-of-its kind musical, each actor will receive a 1-2 minute scene/song to rehearse, video record, and upload. When all the videos are played in order, they tell the hilarious story of a group of passionate students desperate to keep their annual musical alive…online!

Santa's Workshop Got Talent

It’s just days before Christmas at Santa’s Workshop and a big blizzard has snowed everybody in!  But there’s still work to be done — like getting the elves and reindeer in the proper holiday spirit with song, dance, and big belly laughs.  So, elf hosts Holly Daze and Mistletoe Merryman decide the North Pole’s annual talent show must go on…  line!

Mrs. Claus, the pun-loving Ruby the Red-Lipped Reindeer, and Old St. Nick himself join the hosts online to help judge this reality TV spoof.

This show is directed by Savannah Smith (GTS alum).

Christmas Shorts On-Line

As Mrs. Claus prepares for Christmas by getting Santa’s lucky boxer shorts ready, a series of Christmas-themed scenes unfold, from a sports segment featuring the 845th annual Reindeer Games, to a holiday quiz show featuring Scrooge, Tiny Tim, and the Ghost of Christmas Future.  Mrs. Claus once again comes to the rescue when the elves rip Santa’s gift bag, and a segment from North Pole News features touching moments highlighting the spirit of the season.
